Mission Statement

"By the grace of God, we seek to love God and to serve humanity as Christ did.

We believe that God loves all people, and that we share in expressing that love. We try to live lovingly and justly as servants of Jesus Christ by feeding the hungry, caring for the stranger, caring for the earth, and working to promote racial and social justice. Our church has a long history of action and advocacy.  We are active in our church, our community and in our world through a variety of ways, including:

• Serving in our church as greeters, liturgists, coffee hour hosts, ushers, audio-video operators, and church committee members.

• Participating in small groups that explore our Wesleyan principles, bible scriptures, and how to live faithfully in our contemporary world.

• Advocating for social justice and working to address issues such as poverty, hunger, and inequality via local mission projects and service initiatives.

• Supporting global mission efforts through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) and other global mission organizations.
