You’re Invited to an Obituary Writing Class

This two-part workshop will guide you in crafting a personal, reflective, and meaningful obituary to capture your legacy and help alleviate this for loved ones. We’ll share templates, tips on balancing facts with stories, and techniques for creating an engaging and honest tribute.

• In Session 1 (May 6^th) we will provide tips, templates, and examples. Then we will start writing and you can continue at home if needed to create a draft for the second session.

• In Session 2 (June 3^rd) we will discuss how the writing went, what you learned about yourself or your loved one, have the opportunity to share a favorite section or sentence of your obituary and get input from others if you want.

Each session will start at 1pm and last an hour.
