Having a basic (though not necessarily extensive) understanding of computers is helpful, although training is provided.  Persons interested or wanting more information should call the office or contact Dan Benning for more information.

The Sunday Coffee Host is asked to make the coffee & set out coffee condiments, provide a simple treat (if you choose to do so), and clean up afterwards. As a coffee host you have a unique opportunity to engage visitors/members and help them feel comfortable while supplying them with a good cup of coffee and/or treat! You have a great opportunity to warmly welcome people and be a reflection of God’s love.

Liturgist

Liturgist are asked to read scripture or liturgy in Sunday Worship service. The reader receives the texts during the week preceding their Sunday, along with a helpful Liturgist’s bulletin highlighting everything they need to say.  Persons of all ages are encouraged to be readers.

Usher

Ushers distribute the bulletins and greet worshippers making every attempt to help them feel welcome and at ease. The usher is available to answer questions of anyone needing assistance and records the worship attendance at each service.

Board of Trustees

Trustees function as Christian stewards of the property God has entrusted to the congregation. This includes supervising and maintaining both the physical property and gifts made to the congregation so that the ministries of the congregation can be effective and all legal requirements related to the property are satisfied. The Board of Trustees oversee the physical aspects of a church such as the property and buildings, cleaning, gardening, lawn cutting/snow removal, and equipment.

Administrative/Finance Council

The church council is the administrative agency of the charge conference to envision, plan, implement, and annually evaluate the ministry of the congregation. The team coordinates with the pastor, staff/parish relations committee, treasurer/finance committee, and trustees to provide for financial support, physical facilities, and the legal obligations of the congregation. The team maintains the congregation’s connection with appropriate district and annual conference programs and structures.
